Northlight Construction Kit

The Northlight is a model of a very typical small coastal freighter off the Western Isles of Scotland, known to all ship lovers as the "Clyde Puffer".
The GRP hull of this model is equipped with all details on the outside, such as rivets, bumper strips and scuppers. The wooden parts for deck and superstructure are milled out with a CNC router for an exact fit. The kit contains all necessary mouldings, printed decks, building plan and building instructions with many detail sketches.
The fittings set contains over 200 metal castings which make this model an authentic piece of jewellery.
This model is also very suitable as a pure standing model. The crew figures are also included. The installation of a steam engine in this small model proves to be very difficult.
